MEET OUR FOUNDERS
Meighan and Frank Harmon, a family law attorney and wealth advisor, have seen how challenging divorce can be for their clients, especially when making critical decisions under emotional stress. They have witnessed individuals struggle to take on new responsibilities, often facing complex issues like estate planning and tax preparation without prior experience.
Fueled by a desire to create positive change and set a strong example for their daughter, Meighan and Frank founded First Year Forward (FYF) in 2023. FYF is a nonprofit providing social, emotional, mental, and spiritual support to women going through divorce, distinguished by its use of structured small group circles for deep healing and transformation.

As the President of the Board and interim Executive Director, Tracy is responsible for bringing the founders' vision to life. In addition to her 25 years of experience as a brand marketing and PR professional, Tracy is also an Integrative Health Coach and passionate about supporting leaders, organizations, and communities that elevate our individual and collective well-being.
Having personally experienced the isolating and overwhelming challenges of divorce, Tracy's dedication to reframing the narrative around divorce drives her mission at First Year Forward. -
Jillian is a licensed therapist and transformational coach specializing in addictions, mental health, and relationships. Her work is built on creating a space for clients to be in touch with the wisdom and power of their body and emotions.

Dr. Leila Ortiz helps clients reach their full potential by identifying and transforming obstacles that interfere with personal growth. She combines cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and positive psychology to support individuals in developing self-awareness and replacing negative patterns with self-compassion. Her empathetic yet direct approach enables clients to gain deeper insights while building practical skills for lasting change.
